GMG coordinates medical education on behalf of Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine NJ Regional Education Consortium (RMEC) RMEC hospitals and facilities include Bergen Regional Medical Center, Holy Name Medical Center, Englewood Hospital & Medical Center, Meadowlands Hospital Medical Center, Palisades Medical Center and North Hudson Community Action Centers.
This website provides information for attendings, residents and medical students affiliated with the NJ-RMEC hospitals. Schedules, logisitics, contact information, directions and pertinent forms are all available and updated regularly.

This site is maintained by Dr. Miglietta and the Chief Medical Students.

Notice:

Please note that Dr. Abend's OMM lecture is mandatory for all 3rd year NJ-RMEC students. Attendance is taken and completion of the quizzes is required. Powerpoints for each lecture are emailed to students as far in advance as possible. Lectures are typically on Tuesdays from 8-9:30am but exact times will be given in the weekly hospital emails. 

The lecture is first given to Holy Name, Englewood and Bergen students, at Holy Name Medical Center. The following Friday, Dr. Abend gives the same lecture for students rotating at Palisades, Meadowlands, and North Hudson Clinic. The location for the second lecture will be at Palisades if a room is available. Otherwise, these will be held at Holy Name as well.

If you are unable to attend the lecture on your scheduled day, you may attend the other lecture but you must notify the chief medical students in advance.
